About Us
R&S Electroplating was established in April 1977 by Mr S.E. Bray-Cotton & Mrs Z. Bray-Cotton in the city of Manchester. The company was built into a very successful business for both commercial and domestic customers. In 1992 the company moved to the present day location in Crown Street, Failsworth, Manchester. Today the business is run by their son, Mr Mark Bray-Cotton who has been in the family business since 1983. Like many businesses R&S had to adapt and change to the ever changing trends and customer requirements and as a result is now one of the main electroplaters in the northwest for the re-chroming of car engine and motorcycle parts. Even though these may be the main components that R&S electroplate many other items are still undertaken for example, door fixtures and fittings, plumbing, bathroom and kitchen fittings, cycle parts any many more parts too many to mention. Unlike many of our competitors all work undertaken is processed within the company, we have our own polishing shop, paint stripping and chrome stripping facilities, bead blasting equipment and a fully equipped electroplating shop for Nickel, Chrome and Zinc finishes.
Situated on the main Oldham to Manchester road (A62) and within 1/4 mile of the new M60 R&S Electroplating is very easy to get to from any part of the country. The M62 is only 4 miles away making it easy to get to from Yorkshire.
